You have taken the first step: you have realized your need.

Second -- When you call on anyone for anything you recognize the ability of the one you call on to supply your need.

When you need new clothing you don't go to a bakery, do you? When you need medical aid, you don't go to a gas station. There are special places to go to have special needs satisfied.

When you need a Savior, where do you go? To Jesus. "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." Other verses affirm this fact: (Jn. 1:12; Jn. 3:16; Jn 3:36)

What is a Savior? Someone who does for you what you cannot do for yourself. If we were in a boating accident, I was injured and you pulled me to safety, you would have done for me what I could not do myself. Swim! In that situation, you would be my savior.

What did Jesus do to qualify as your Savior?

He died for you
(Rom.5-8).
Do you believe Jesus could be your Savior if you asked him to?
